My Best Friend

My best friend is probibly the most random, crazy person I ever met. He moved from Alaska in sixth grade and was really quite. Then soon as I got to know him he turned out to be the opposite of what I thought he was like and turned out to be really talkative and funny. He is super funny and can make me laugh any time I feel sad or angry. The main thing that is unique about him is that he can make the wierdest sounds and is almost always smiling and/or laughing. He is also super amazingly good at playing the piano and when ever he comes to my house always starts playing the piano my family has, and he is so good.
My best friend is very shy around strangers and people he doesn't know but if you talk to him a little bit then he turns into a really cool outgoing person. Hi s dad was in the army so he has to move a lot and when he moved here from Alaska, for a while, he had a hard time fitting in. But then we had a class together and started talking and I found out how cool he was so then we became really good friends. The only problem with our friendship is that he had to move to Virginia because the army wanted to move his dad.

My Birthday

My Earliest memory that I can think of write now is my third birthday. I had it in my house and the key part that I remember was my moms friend had a son that was my age. My mom didn't want to be rude to her friend so she invited the kid to my birthday party. Now the conflict in this story is that I REALLY DISLIKED THE KID. The reason I did not like him very much is because he was probibly the most violent three year old kid in the world and always attacked me when I wasn't looking at him. And yes we were both seriously three years old. When I figured out he had to come I was super angry and pouting to my mom about why he had to come. Then all she said was "Sorry, do you want some cheese with that whine." Then she didn't want to here anything about the "devily kid" as Icalled him.

As it ended up he didn't come cause he got sick(I did not pioson him). But I was really happy and my birthday went good. I was so nervous before my party because the last time I had seen him he gave me a skar on my forehead that I stil have. So when he didn't show up I had the best time eating cake and getting all my presents.

Treasure Island: Imagery
The author uses imagery to add different things to different parts. Robert Louis Stevenson would add imagery into a fight scene to add drama or suspense. He might also add it in describing surrounding to describe where a character be like the island and features of the island. I believe that he adds it in very well and makes it a much better story than if it did not have any imagery.

I am reading Treasure Island for my outside reading book and so far I think it is pretty good and it does grab my attention from the start. It is fairly interesting because it starts right out with adventure.
I believe the dominant literary feature is imagery. I think the author includes it to describe what is going on and it paints a picture in my head. I believe it wasn't to hard to figure it out but at the very beggining there are several different ones.
The tone switches alot for the first chapter I think it is informative, it is informing you about the characters. Then it switches almost every chapter like a different chapter may be dramatic or zealous.
